It is a very peaceful location and the views are amazing. Great for walking and viewing the wildlife. Great for a few days away from it all.

I stayed here for my honeymoon in November 2010, what a delight! The lodge was outstanding, beautiful and open planned, it was very large, the bedrooms spacious and the ensuite to the master bedroom with the power shower was fantastic. The best thing however was the awe inspiring views, overlooking fields and mountains - complete unspoilt beauty! The hot tub was amazing anytime of day, however at night, watching the stars and drinking champagne was the best ever. We will definitley return and would reccomend to anyone wanting pure bliss, a romantic getaway or as an ideal base for a family holiday. Thank you for our perfect honeymoon!

A wonderful lodge in a fantastic location, lovely views of the fells. Peace and quiet abound. Lodges are very well laid out with a modern contemporary feel. Hot tub is a bonus after a days walking.

Location was heavenly and an ideal place to relax. The accommodation was superb and the hot tub was an added bonus. Really an ideal place to get away from it all!!!

The accommodation was excellent, with the hot tub and views from the deck, it made a fantastic base for touring the Lakes.

Thanet Well site is set in an idyllic location overlooking the fells & hills of the Lake District. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity then this is the place to go. The cabin was immaculate and the hot tub on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful view, was the icing on the cake. The staff on site were very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. This is a place we will definitely be returning to.

Can absolutely recommend this holiday. Still can't believe that we were in the middle of nowhere, but only 4 miles from Penrith! Absolute bliss!
